Glazeloop privacy policy

Updated 25 October 2026 · Android package com.ObsessiveGames.glazeloop

Glazeloop is a single-player color-ring timing game from Obsessive Games. For privacy questions, contact enquiries@obsessivegames.co.za.

The campaign works offline without an account. Optional rewarded ads and purchases are available only to players who choose the 18-or-older age group. For adults, Google Play connects automatically to load prices and restore purchases. Rewarded videos are requested when you choose Watch. Core levels and retries remain free.

Progress and information on your device

The game stores completed levels, scores, drops, palette selections and ownership, daily challenge dates/results, preferences and one-time reward records on your device. It also keeps an age-group choice, the privacy-notice version and verified purchase-entitlement and reward-delivery records. We ask for an age group, not your date of birth, identity document, name or email address in the game.

Glazeloop has no game account, chat, user-uploaded content, cloud-save service or custom gameplay analytics service. Your scores and campaign progress are not sent to an Obsessive Games gameplay server. The Android operating system may back up app data according to your device/account settings; this is separate from a game-provided cloud save.

Local progress is not encrypted by the game. Records and recovery copies remain until removed through Android app-storage controls or other device management. Clearing storage removes progress and choices; it does not cancel a purchase, erase provider records or necessarily remove operating-system backups. Manage those backups separately.

Age group and service availability

The intended audience is ages 13 and older. Players selecting Under 18 can play the campaign and daily challenges and earn the six standard palettes, but the game does not enable its advertising or purchase services for them. The game does not request those services before an age group is selected. If you selected the wrong age group, contact support for help; clearing app storage resets the choice but also removes local progress.

For adults, store access is automatic and is not a purchase. Checkout always requires confirmation through Google Play. Advertising remains voluntary: skipping a video does not block normal progression. No Ads owners receive eligible bonuses without loading videos. The game does not offer personalized advertising: personalization consent is set to false and the do-not-sell/share signal to true before the ad SDK is initialized. These settings do not mean that providers process no data.

Advertising and SDK data

The Android app includes Unity LevelPlay, Unity Ads and Ad Quality. Glazeloop requests initialization of its ad service after an adult chooses Watch. Its Unity Ads automatic initializer is deferred to that point. Other Android lifecycle components remain present, so this is not a claim that every bundled component is inactive until a button is pressed.

When these services operate, providers may collect device or installation identifiers, IP-derived approximate location, app and ad interactions, diagnostic and performance information, and purchase-related information described in their disclosures. They use this information for delivering and measuring advertisements, operating their services, analytics, security and fraud prevention, and may share information with service and advertising partners. This is provider processing, not an upload of your local campaign save.

Glazeloop does not request the Android Advertising ID permission, precise-location, contacts, camera or microphone permissions. Removing the Advertising ID permission does not prevent providers from processing IP addresses or other identifiers. See Unity’s game-player and app-user privacy policy for its current data practices, retention and privacy rights. Test ads can also involve provider processing.

Google Play purchases

Glazeloop offers two separate permanent purchases: No Ads, which grants the eligible once-per-level/date video bonus automatically, and the Supporter Pack, which unlocks Stardust and Rose gold cosmetic palettes. Neither is a subscription. There are no loot boxes or cash-redeemable rewards.

The app uses Google Play Billing directly. Google handles checkout, payment methods, order records and account information under Google’s privacy policy. The game receives product and purchase information to verify ownership, acknowledge purchases and restore entitlements; it does not receive your payment-card details or Google password. Verified ownership is cached on the device for offline use. Pending purchases unlock only after Google Play confirms payment. A successful store query may remove a refunded entitlement.

Restoring purchases uses the purchasing account in Google Play and does not restore local campaign progress. Glazeloop does not use Unity IAP or its purchase-event reporting service. Google and advertising providers retain their own records under their policies and applicable legal requirements.

Support, website access and deletion requests

If you contact us, we receive your email address and information you choose to include. We use it to answer your request, investigate problems and handle privacy requests. Website hosting may process normal request information such as IP address and browser details for delivery and security. These privacy/support pages do not add advertising, analytics scripts or tracking cookies.

You can request access, correction or deletion of information we hold by emailing enquiries@obsessivegames.co.za. Include “Glazeloop privacy request” and enough information to identify the issue. We may ask for limited information to verify a request. Do not send passwords, card numbers or identity documents. We cannot remotely erase a save stored only on your phone; use Android’s Clear storage control for that data.

For data held independently by Unity or Google, use their linked privacy controls or contact us for assistance identifying the provider. Requests are subject to verification, provider capabilities and legal retention duties. We do not promise immediate deletion of all provider records or automatic deletion after a fixed period. See support and deletion instructions.

Retention, security and international processing

Local progress remains on your device as described above. Support correspondence is retained as needed to resolve requests and meet legal obligations. Providers determine retention for their own advertising, transaction, security and diagnostic records; some information may need to be kept for accounting, disputes or fraud prevention.

Provider services use encrypted network connections according to their documentation. This is separate from local save-file protection, and no system is guaranteed completely secure. Providers may process information in countries other than your own, as described in their policies. No independent security certification is claimed for this game.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the game, providers or data practices change. The date at the top identifies the current notice. Contact Obsessive Games at enquiries@obsessivegames.co.za with questions.
